Portrait Studio Madness

A couple weeks ago, I bravely took my two children to Sears to have their pictures made. First of all, I can't carry both of them, so I had to get out the super deluxe limousine (aka double stroller) and drive them all the way through the mall. And for some reason, getting pictures made is very stressful for me. I always feel like I have to hurry up, and I'm afraid I'll forget some of the pictures I want made. On top of that I have a 15 month old crawling/walking all over the place and a newborn screaming cause I woke her up to take her clothes off and have a big bright light flash in her eyes, not to mention that I wouldn't let her nurse back to sleep. Thank goodness Jeff's Aunt Crissy was there to help. I was a little distracted trying to make Emma smile.
Well, we were there for like 3 hours, and I was still a little disappointed that I didn't get to even look at all the pictures we took ( a grand total of 125 ), but had to choose from the one's the photographer thought were the best. She didn't really have the same taste as me, and only gave me like one picture of Emma laughing. I personally believe Emma laughing is the cutest thing on Earth, and would have preferred having more of those. Anyway, Crissy and I purchased the digital CD which I thought would have ALL the pictures that were taken on there, but I was wrong. I should have listened to Crissy. Oh well.
So anyway, here's some of the pictures. They actually turned out pretty good.

Dont worry it will get better. In no time you will be the queen of protrait studios. Relax, take help with you and remeber - it is hard to get little ones to smile. Sometimes just something natural turns out best and eventually she will smile for them. I like mine to smile, but some of Alli's tearfull shots really show personality. So when can I book us for another shoot?! hahahah

Taking the kids to the portrait studio was always SOOOOO stressful for me, too! So I feel your pain! I think they turned out beautiful, though, so it was 3 hrs. well spent. I love Emma's red hair!--Shelley, Steph's friend
