Aaagghh! Scary Snake!!!!

So today my sweet husband came home and asked me to go get my camera. He also had his .22 in his hand. I started to panic a little. So I grabbed my camera and went outside. He came around from his truck with this ENORMOUS snake in his hands. Understandably, I screamed and ran. He reassured me it was dead, but man it gave me the heebee geebies. I hate snakes. This is it. This is a 4 and a half foot long Rattler, with 9 buttons (whatever that means). Yuck!

Okay, just an fyi...
I was informed this evening that it is illegal to kill rattlesnakes. Unless of course you were threatened/in danger while at work. So, I promise that as far as I know Jeff was at work and this snake came across his path and threatened him. He told me it struck at him. So, hopefully, he did nothing illegal. : )
